We do NOT sell or supply any type of garden room or cabin and specialise ONLY in their installation and construction.

How does our garden building installation service in Maidstone work?

You purchase the outbuilding of your choice, contact us and arrange for a FREE site survey.

We attend and conduct a free site survey which will include taking relevant measurements and assessing the area and its suitability for construction. We will discuss with you any ground clearance or other preparation work that may be necessary. For example, existing bushes and plants may need removing or a tree needs felling to make room.
Other types of preparatory work could include excavation, turf cutting, surface levelling and soil removal. We can take care of all this for you and will discuss in detail with you the options available at the time of the survey. All debris excavated soil and other materials we will remove and dispose of for you.

Base construction. Typically this means laying a solid concrete base for the outbuilding although other options are available depending on what is being built. We then install the garden building and fix the roof. Finally, we add the insulation, attach handles and security locks if required.

How long will it take to build my new garden office or log cabin?

Of course, it depends on how big the structure is and multiple rooms will take slightly longer but is likely to be completed within a few days. Even large buildings can be built in one week. This ensures disruption to you is kept to a minimum but the end product is an exceptionally well-constructed outbuilding that will give you many years of service.

Do I need planning permission to install a garden building?

Generally, speaking structures such as garden offices, cabins and other garden rooms are treated as ‘permitted development’ and do not require planning permission.
However, there are some important conditions the outbuilding must comply with. These include:
it must be at least 2 metres away from any boundary with a neighbouring property
the maximum height for eaves is 2.5 metres and overall height with a pitched roof must not exceed 4 metres or 3 metres with a flat roof
it must not be used as accommodation or an inhabitable building.
